Always contact a reputable breeder for your purchase of any dog, and never make your purchase from a pet store. In addition to paying more at a pet store, you'll also end up with a dog which most likely came from a large and disreputable "puppy mill" breeder, where puppies are raised in squalid conditions and are not carefully screened for proper traits.
