You are a monarch, like your parents before you, a ruler of a small kingdom of rivers and evergreens. Unlike your parents, however, you have hopes and dreams! The thing to remember with this board game is that looks can be deceiving. The game has an overwhelming few hundred cards and a massive rule book. The rule book is the first step to understanding the game, and its 8.5 by 11 inch size can be quite discomforting. However, the rule book is the the most difficult and most intimidating step in getting to know the game.
