PROS: Quality construction, rechargeable, easy to use, fairly quiet, actually works! After clipping my dog's nails, they would be jagged and razor sharp, resulting in bloody gashes on our arms and legs when we played with him. This solves that problem!
CONS: The guard is a pain. I took it off. My dog didn't like the guard for some reason. It's easier to use with the guard off and it really doesn't make a mess anyway. With the guard on the filing bands kept slipping down, causing me ... Read More

Own it. For my dalmation it would not trim her nails, just smooth out jagged nail edges. The band wore out quickly. The replacement bands sent with the machine were too loose and would slip off as soon as machine was turned on. I'd have had more fun lighting my money on fire.

I am very displeased with the quality of the filing bands for this product; they unraveled on first use. I want to return the product but because I am beyond the 30 day window I cannot get my money back from the company only replacement bands. Why would I want more of an obviously defective product.

The price from this seller on Peticure products are way higher than the Peticure website. Prices from the manufactuer website: Power = $59.99; Elite = $49.99; and Petite = $29.99. Don't get ripped off by this re-seller; buy the products directly from the manufacturer.

THIS IS A REVIEW OF THE PETICURE POWER, PROFESSIONAL MODEL.
I have a great dog with a good temperament. However, to cut his nails and then spend a long time filing them takes a lot of time and patience on both the dog's and dog parent's part.
Even with walking outside the nails are still sharp. I saw an ad for the Pedipaws but searching on the internet, it was an offshoot from the Dremel and Peticure.
