Two CD set. Live from Nowhere in Particular is the 2008 album from Joe Bonamassa, an US blues guitarist/singer. Guitar One Magazine has stated that 'he just might be the best guitarist of his generation.' His blues-rock style is similar to that of Stevie Ray Vaughan's. In an interview in 'Guitarist' magazine (issue 265), Joe Bonamassa cited the three albums that had the biggest influence on his playing: John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers with Eric Clapton (the 'Beano Album'), Rory Gallagher's 'Irish Tour' and 'Goodbye' by Cream.

First time I saw Joe live I had no idea who he was. Four concerts and 5 CDs later, I can vouch that guitar aficionados are really missing out if they haven't discovered this guy yet. Covers multiple genre styles, but blues is where he really shines. Great CD.

Joe Bonamassa is a great blues guitar player and this cd proves it! Some bands or artists sound great in the studio but fail when performing live but not Joe and his band. If you ever walk away from one of his shows disappointed it's your fault! This album does it's best to capture Joe Bonamassa and the feeling he puts into every song he plays.
