Highly indulgent release of ambient industrial instrumentals prove that not everyone should be completely free from label restraints. Reznor completely plays into the fanbase with this one, rarely constructing a track out of 36 that rises above mere NIN production exercise.

My Mini Cooper is a happy place, the sort of cute little car that elicits happy waves and horn toots from passersby and fellow motorists. It's the sort of car that caused me to change my usual moody music selection to something a bit more up beat, with "Island in the Sun" and "You Get What You Give" on heavy rotation on the mp3 player. this is quickly becoming my favorite NIN album. i can listen to the entire double disc album on a loop and not get tired of it. the fact that there are no lyrics, keeps it fresh for me. to me Reznor always excelled at composing music and this puts that right out there w/o the lyrics to overshadow it.

I'll keep it short and simple. If you like industrial music or instrumentals. This is for you. This album uses piano and a wide vareity of other instruments and technology. This album is perfect for relaxing to, or if your like me, I often listen to it while writing poetry to get the juices flowing. Really well done. I reccomend it.

My only negative isnt that big, but some of the tracks feel bland and too industrial and loud, like you cant even make it out. But, thats just me. I really ... Read More
