Save your money, and buy something else. The quality of this product is shamefully inadequate. If you want a small, lightweight, and poor quality illuminating flashlight--this is your product. I think S&W should stick to making guns--they seem to be better at that. The light is not bright, and its illumination quality is pour. I bought this light for work where I constantly find myself in dark closets and machine rooms. This flashlight has been a great addition to my tool belt. The 20 white led's give enough illumination to compete with any other light of its size. The red and blue light function is a nice addition however in my work conditions I doubt it has much use; but they are a great addition especially since they are on a seperate switch. Performs as advertised. I keep it on a table next to our bed. The separate ON/OFF switch for the red LED is great when you want to find something without ruining your night vision.
It lights up a large part of the room in the white LED mode. For outdoor use,I have a large 6 volt flashlight where distance is an issue. In summary. it is an ideal light for the interior of your home or as a handy light to carry for use in the car or airplane.
