Lots of room on this little card and I will be using it on my 3 months in the Middle East in the Spring. I have several other cards that will fit, it turns out, but this one will be my main stash.

8GB is larger than the hard drive space on my college computer (from 10 years ago) and this is infinitely lighter!
I shoot semi-professional photography and my RAW image sizes are quite large (approximately 22MB). This is the perfect size to keep me shooting for a long time before having to switch out. I have a Canon Powershot (this works in both SD1000 & SD1100) and this works like a charm in there. At standard 640x480 it says it registers more than 9,999 shots...
Didn't work with my older laptop's SD card reader, but a $6 USB card reader adaptor solved that (definately recommended).
Love the number of shots that fit on this & will fit about an hour of movie taken on the camera too. Can recommend this without any hesitation.

I have 3 of these cards - I am storing my CD collection on them in ape format. I have had no problems with the Transend cards and they work well in my Cowon D2.
