I LOVE THIS KINGSTON DATA TRAVELER. IT WORKS GREAT AT KEEPING DATA I WORK ON AS I TRAVEL, AND AS I WRITE MY BOOKS. I DON'T LOSE DATA IF I SHOULD HAPPEN TO HIT A KEY OR A "MISPLACED" BUTTON NOW AND THEN AS I WRITE. IT IS TRULY A "LIFESAVER". I AM SO GLAD I BOUGHT IT AND THE SMALLER VERSION TOO.

So far, this USB memory stick seems robust and it works in a wide variety of machines without having to install new drivers. It's very nice that the cap fits on the other end of the drive, like a pen cap, so I'm less likely to walk off without it. However, I wish the loop at the end were slightly larger. It's barely large enough to jam on a standard key chain loop, and once on it's so tight that the memory stick won't slide around the ring with the rest of my keys. I gave up carrying it on my ... Not sure what else to say other than the Kingston Data Traveler 2 GB USB Drive (DTI/2GB) has been great for me for quick backups, moving files, and keeping small programs on the go with me. I've had mine 6 months and it's fast & smooth. Just plug it in and you've got a new drive to copy files to and take them on the go. Lightweight, small, and inexpensive. Most of all, mine has been reliable and that's what's important.

I purchased this about a month ago, and I am very pleased with it. It is easy to use simply by copy/paste from C: to the memory stick. That's all there is to it. I found it plenty fast enough for my purposes which is to store photos. I am going to purchase another one for other files as well. I really don't think anyone could go wrong with this easy-to-use data device.
