The Orbit LCD Battery Timer is the only battery timer that has a removable body for easy programming from your favorite easy chair. It automates your drip irrigation and other yard watering. It allows up to 4 start times a day every 1, 2 or 3 days. A watering cycle can run from 1 minute to 6 hours. It operates within a water pressure range of 10 PSI to 90 PSI and has a flow rate of up to 7.5 Gallons Per Minute. Uses 2 9-volt alkaline batteries that can last up to 1 year.

This timer is easy to program and use. I've only had it for a month but it seems to work fine. I like the 6 yr warranty. Other timers have much shorter warranties and only last a few months.

As a devoted Arizona gardener I have an especial need to keep all of my plants correctly watered. I have found that the Orbit Digitak Watering Timer to be the best and most dependable timer for meeting all of my watering needs. I recommend it most highly.

This device is significantly better than the one it replaced. Easy to set up, easy to install, works reliably. I'll probably get another one for my backyard come spring!

I just finished disconnecting this timer, and tomorrow I will return it to the hardware store where I bought it. I have had it for about two weeks. The timer mechanism works just fine, but apparently the valve doesn't: I have a continual leakage when the water is supposed to be off. I just placed an order on Amazon for two more Gilmour timers to add to the ones I already have--they are the only timers I have used that have always been reliable.

Like many others, I have tried all the other hose type timers and while some work and some don't, this product has put it all together for quality and convenience. It is worth the extra cash for the features, especially being able to disconnect only the timer for winter and bring it indoors.
