I really like The Swingle Singers, but I will leave for others to speak to the musicianship. This offering is great in that you get two discs for one very low price. The one word of caution is that both discs were previously released separately. Bach Hits Back is apparently no longer available as a separate disc. The Mozart disc is available elsewhere, but with a slightly different title. (A Capella Amadeus was the subtitle.)

This is an amazing value for 2 cds of phenomenal a cappella group The Swingle Singers. I bought the same cds from virgin Records in 2000 but I ended up giving it to a friend as a present. Am glad to have found this gem here at Amazon for such a low price.

Being a former professional chorale singer myself, the Swingle Singers are just top-notch. Same calibre as that of the King's Singers but mixed voices though. Clean lines, precise, accurate singing. My faves are Badinerie which ... Read More

I enjoy the Swingle Singers very much but sadly, in this album they are flat on about half of the tracks. When they are on key, they are very, very good. When they are flat they are awful. Recommendation: buy a different Swingle Singers CD.
