This is a slice of pure dub perfection. Mellow as mellow can be BUT with all the imagination and lightness of touch that will keep you gripped with pleasure - right up until the last note of the last track. Classic Magic. Buy it.

if you have played grand theft auto 3, then you have already heard half of the songs on this disc. i was listening to it the other day in my car, and i had one of those tripped out moments, where i thought i was in the game. the dubs are awesome, they were all recorded on friday the 13th, 1981 in jamaica. when you take into account the lack of technology at the time, these dubs are also on par with some of the great remixes of the 80's. the album cover is sweet, though it doesn't really speak ... Admittedly, I came to this disc through the avenue of the PS2 insta-classic Grand Theft Auto III. Music was a central part of the game; there were more than half a dozen distinct radio stations playing both real material and songs created for the game. K-Jah Radio was the dub station, and it featured five of the cuts heard on this classic Scientest album:

This is probably the best dub album ever produced. Hopeton Overton Brown aka Scientist was nicknamed by King Tubby (pioneer of Dub) because of his "scientific skills" in music recordings. It is known that Scientist started off at an early age and because of his electronics knowledge, he made great mixes at studios he worked at.
