Editorial Review:
Album Description: Birds sing softly as a light rain falls throughout the woods. A distant rumble grows until the thunder's fury pierces the forest calm. Rain increases as the thunder grows closer. When the storm retreats, the rain slackens as frogs and birds begin to sing.

I like it, however it is much more rain and birds singing than thunder. I had expected more of a constant thunderstorm, the rain is very soothing though.

My husband and I play this CD all night long, from the second the lights go off. Neither of us can remember ever sleeping as soundly as we do since we started listening to this CD. I think there could be better ones out there, as the rain in this one is not easy to hear at times, but we are sticking with it rather than keep buying more!

There's much variation in the actual storms and a huge range of audio dynamics, from the beginning peltings ... Read More

This is the perfect cd for those who are looking to relax and calm the mind. I am a big fan of the 'Echoes of Nature' Series.
The cd progresses smoothly through all stages of the storm. From the quiet beginnings of the rain lightly falling through the end with the birds lightly welcoming the sun back into the sky.
As in all of their cds, there is no music accompaniment, just nature. The storm itself is never overly loud. There are also separate tracks for those who like to repeat. ... Read More
