I have been recommending this book to women for years. I have been purchasing this book for wives as gifts for years. I have even started a ministry because of my testimony due to this book and how God used Stormie to write this book. I had the previlege of meeting her at the Threshing Floor Conference and sharing my testimony with her. We embraced with the love of Christ, and she told how proud she was.

It is true that Stormie Omartian speaks from a lot of painful experiences that we may not all share. I have prayed some of these prayers during difficult times in my own marriage and seen results (not genie magic, but God-made change in me and my husband). But these prayers are not only for the tough times. Husbands can always benefit from prayers for their jobs, relationships with other family members, or handling of money.
