He resolves several times to move to Australia.
Judith Viorst flawlessly and humorously captures a child's testy temperament, rendering Alexander sympathetic rather than whiny. This book is great for a boy or a girl, it is a big hit at our house!

The binding on the book was solid (paper back) but the pages were black and white and on two of the pages the ink was smeared. I guestion if someone printed it at home.

Alexander and the Terrible Horrible, No Good Very Bad Day, is a very very good book. One of my favorites from when i was a kid

This was a great book! It made us laugh. We liked the part when Alexander fell in the mud, and when his foot got stuck in the elevator. You should read this book because it is a funny book. If you read it, we think you will like it. We would recommend it to both adults and kids, especially for people who are not having a good day. It will make them feel better. Happy reading!

I found this book while I was looking for a gift for a six year old boy today. I loved it so much that I got one for the birthday boy and one for my almost-six year-old daughter. It is absolutely amazing.. Alexander is having a bad day, no not just a bad day, a horrible day, as we, adults, call it "a day from hell"...
